Step Procedure & Parts & Tools
1 LOCATE THE DRAIN HOSES ON THE BACK OF THE MACHINE

2 PULL TO REMOVE THE BLUE CAPPED HOSE FROM MACHINE. PLACE HOSE NEAR DRAIN AND REMOVE CAP

3 PULL TO REMOVE THE RED CAPPED HOSE FROM MACHINE. PLACE HOSE NEAR DRAIN AND REMOVE CAP

4 REMOVE THE 13MM TANK BOLT ON RIGHT SIDE OF THE MACHINE.

5 LIFT THE TANK TO OPEN THE MACHINE

7 TURN THE KEY ON

7 TO TEST SOLUTION AND BRUSH FUNCTIONS THE DECK WILL NEED TO BE DOWN. PUSH DOWN ON FOOT PEDAL TO LOWER THE BRUSH DECK.

8 TURN SOLUTION ON AND ADJUST TO HIGHER LEVEL

9 LOCATE THE SOLUTION VALVE/PUMP WIRE BUNDLE IN THE CLUSTER OF CONNECTORS ON THE LEFT.

10 MACHINE HAS 2 PUMPS, AND WE CAN CHECK EACH SEPARATELY. INSERT THE VOLTMETER LEADS INTO VALVE/PUMP PLUG AT PINS 1 AND 3(LEFT PAIR, RED DOTS) AND AGAIN AT PINS 2 AND 5 (CENTER PAIR, GREEN DOTS). DROP THE DECK, ENGAGE SOLUTION SYSTEM AND FORWARD DRIVE. PUMP OPERATES ON DUTY CYCLE, THE VOLTAGE WILL RISE AND FALL RAPIDLY.

11 INSERT THE VOLTMETER LEADS INTO VALVE/PUMP PLUG AT PINS 3 AND 6. DROP THE DECK, ENGAGE SOLUTION SYSTEM AND FORWARD DRIVE. METER SHOULD READ APPROXIMATELY 24V.

12 LOCATE THE VACUUM MOTOR CONNETOR NEAR THE MIDDLE OF THE BOARD. INSERT PROBES AND ACTIVATE THE VAC MOTOR. FULL POWER SHOULD BE APPROXIMATELY 24V.

13 LOCATE THE 2 ALLEN HEAD CONNECTIONS ON THE FAR LEFT OF BOARD, WILL BE LABLED "BRUSH+" AND "BRUSH-" PROBE THESE AND ENGAGE THE DRIVE(ASSISTANCE MAY BE NEEDED TO REACH)

14 PUSH THUMBSTICKS FORWARD TO ENGAGE DRIVE. SHOULD READ APPROXIMATELY 24V

15 IF NO VOLTAGE IS PRESENT FOR THE BRUSH OR SOLUTION SYSTEMS, CHECK THE FOOT PEDAL SWITCH. LOCATED UNDERNEATH THE REAR OF THE MACHINE AT THE PEDAL. FROM UNDERNEATH, CHECK TO MAKE SURE IT IS NOT STUCK. THEN, FROM INSIDE THE FRAME (IN THE COMPARTMENT NEXT TO THE POWER BOARD) FOLLOW THE WIRES FROM THE SWITCH TO A CONNECTOR. DISCONNECT AND PROBE AT THIS END FOR CONTINUITY. SWITCH SHOULD ONLY HAVE CONTINUITY IN THE UP POSITION, NONE WHEN THE DECK IS DOWN.

16 LOCATE THE DRIVE MOTOR WIRES TO THE RIGHT OF THE VAC MOTOR WIRES. DRIVE MOTOR WIRES MAY BE DISCONNECTED FROM THE BOARD IF YOU CHOOSE TO PREVENT THE MACHINE FROM ROLLING AWAY. PROBE THESE OPEN CONNECTIONS AND ENGAGE THE DRIVE.

17 PUSH THUMBSTICKS FORWARD TO ENGAGE DRIVE. SHOULD READ APPROXIMATELY 24V FORWARD AND 12V IN REVERSE.

18 IMPROPER READINGS IN THE ABOVE STEPS MAY BE A RESULT OF POOR COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE DASH AND POWER BOARDS. LOCATE THE COMMUNICATION CABLE ON THE DRIVE BOARD. IT IS A STANDARD NETWORK CABLE (CAT5) AND RESEMBLES A LARGE PHONE CORD. CHECK FOR DAMAGE TO CONNECTOR AND FOR ANY EXCESSIVE SHARP BENDS IN CABLE (THESE COULD BREAK THE SMALL WIRES INSIDE). ENSURE ITS PLUGGED IN SECURELY. PROBING EACH OF THE 8 WIRES IS POSSIBLE, BUT TEDIOUS...SPEED THE PROCESS BY SWAPPING A NEW CABLE FROM THE POWER BOARD TO DASH BOARD AROUND THE OUTSIDE OF THE TANKS.

20 IF ANY OF THESE OUTPUTS STILL FAIL TO PRODUCE THE CORRECT VOLTAGE, THE MAIN POWER BOARD WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED
